The skin is the largest organ of the body and it performs a variety of functions that include protection, secretion, absorption, excretion, filtration, diffusion, and sensory reception. Even though its importance and functionality cannot be overlooked, we are sometimes careless with our nutrition habits and exercise. As a certified personal trainer and through her vast knowledge of exercise and nutrition, Tiffany will help you set goals, measure goals, and make changes in your life that will improve your health.
Your initial 50-minute fitness counseling session will include:
- Discussion of lifestyle questionnaire
- Personalizing your carbs, protein, and EFA intake for your weight
- Teaching you how to maintain your target heart rate during your workouts
- Analyzing your body shape to help sculpt you into the ideal shape
- Nutritional counseling and recommendations
- Helping you understand the benefits of flexibility training
- Overview of proper water intake
- Discussion about the right combination and use of vitamins and supplements
After the initial consultation, Tiffany will do an in-depth study of your fitness assessment, health history. She will then create a program designed specifically for your lifestyle, needs, and goals. You will then make plans with Tiffany to come back for a follow-up consultation to go over your customized program, and set additional appointments for review of your steps, phases of training, achievements, and goals. Each session with Tiffany will last approximately 50-60 minutes.
Keep in mind the idea of this service is to help you become successful in facilitating healthy behavior change with the full knowledge and understanding that the ultimate goal is to reach a point where termination of Tiffany’s consultations is eminent. Success in fitness and nutrition counseling comes when the client no longer needs the trainer!
